It's been a while. I have not shared much over the last year and I thought my blogging time was over. But, I find myself writing and reflecting over the amazing year that has gone by. I used to think I know life. I always believed that if you plan things and follow, you will achieve your goals and it is true to an extent. 

However, to my utmost disbelief, everything I planned turned out to be completely different. Some of the things I had planned were friendships, career, relationships and even hobbies. Thankfully I have my family and a few close friends who had time again picked up my pieces when I broke myself trying to do things which were entirely opposite to my nature. I am grateful.

Last year was all about revelations. I got to know that polo was a tough game, covid was still wrecking havoc, it's never too late to change your life, your family is your truest friend, that best friend you have is a gem and last but not the least you are the only one who can truly impact your life.

I have learnt alot over the year and can honestly say this to you now, don't take so much time to get over things cos I realized nobody cared. If you don't care about your life nobody has time to come fix you up. 

I ended the year just like everyone of you out there and had a New Year Eve celebration. I was with the best people, my family, who made the night super special by watching movies, food and drinks and lots of laughter. I am still exchanging New Year pleasantries with people who care enough. I have been spending today in my pajamas all day and the thought of sharing this wonderful moment just hit me. 

The year is just starting and I cannot wait to experience all the wonderful things it has in store. I hope you do it too. Just get over the hurt as it's time. You are your own story. Go write it.

(One friend and a cup of tea.) Dear Readers, What a weekend!!!. The January winter is my favorite time of the year and I believe there is nothing better than enjoying it with hot tea, family and friends. Sankranti - Celebration of harvest.

  Did you fly kites today? Did you stuff your mouth with delicious til laddoos and deep fried pakodas? Are your ears hurting with all the music competition on your terrace from your friendly neighborhood?  If the answer to all the questions above were yes by you, then you had a great day today celebrating Sankranti. Just like you, I did all these things and can proudly call it a day well spent.                                      The festival of Sankranti is all about celebrating the harvest season of the year marking the end of the month with the winter solstice and the start of longer days.
