New year celebration at Aaram Bagh Palace.

It's finally 2021!!! A year we have been eagerly waiting for what seems like an eternity. It was a united expression all across the globe and all we wanted to do was let our guards down a little. But, Universe had a different plan just like 2020. So, instead of going out with friends and family, we all had a quiet and relaxing time with them at our cozy homes.

It was also the first long weekend of the year. So, while me and my friends decided to be good citizens of Earth on New year's eve, we also craved an escape out. It is here when the hunt for a safe and sanitized location to spend the weekend started. One thing led to another and after striking out a lot of possible venues, we finally found the one.

"The Aarambagh Palace" in Pushkar.

I am overwhelmed with the experience I had at this stunning heritage resort and cannot wait to indulge in it again by writing about it.

I started the trip with my friends on a chilly morning with sun shining brightly (Yes, it was perfect!). The trip to our venue was a two hour long drive to Pushkar and we found ourselves crossing a red pathway and standing infront of the gates of the The Aarambagh Palace. The first view will be of a tastefully built reception area of white marble and cozy furniture and instantly I knew we were at the perfect place for our holiday.

I knew we made the best decision choosing this place and it could not get better than this. But, little did I know what awaited next. I am calling it destiny because we found ourselves in the illuminating and interesting company of Mr. Rajendra Singh Pachar who is Managing Director of the Pachar Group and mastermind behind the Aaram Bagh Palace. He also happened to be staying for the weekend with his family a few blocks away from us.

You see, Mr Pachar is not only an entrepreneur but also a visionary and a small conversation later, he invited us on a tour of the property. This tour had a spice of history intertwined with a vision of bringing knowledge of the same to today's youth. How was it achieved you ask? Well, a little hint, the whole property is divided into different themes like Arabian Villa, Egyptian Villa, Persian Villa, Greek Villa, Chinese Villa, Tribal Villa and much more. You not only find yourselves looking at the respective themed rooms around, but a geographical representation along with important structures like the Hanging garden is right infront of you. I felt like I am walking inside a map in ancient times (talk about imagination!).

The interiors of the suites inside and attached garden with a pool will make sure that you don't want to step outside even for a minute. It is a perfect blend to relax with family and friends to unwind. The only reason you would ever want to step outside for is to check out the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner which has a variety of traditional food and desserts. The Heritage resort not only brings to you interesting history of different cultures but also luxury and entertainment. From yoga in the morning, high tea in evening and Kalbelia dance at night, it is a well blend of fun and calm.

So if you can't travel the world right now, give yourself a break and visit Aaram Bagh to treat yourself with vast cultural theme, good food and all the rest you crave in these hard times.

P.S: All safety protocols along with masks and sanitizers were used at all times and only removed for pictures.
